Littrell and Creed; Possible Green
We are searching for information on my husband's gg grandparents, his gg grandmother was Barbara (Paralee) ?; she had a daughter Henrietta Cornelia Litterell, born at Red Top, MO. Her mother was not married to the father, supposedly Henry Creed from Dallas County. Henrietta was born around 1885. Later Paralee married someone called Lij Litterell. We suspect that Paralee's last name may have been Green, but that is just a guess. Eventually, the family moved to Webb City, MO. Henry was supposedly full-blood Native American and Paralee was supposedly 3/4's. But who knows. We know that in the early 1900's she went to live in Oklahoma. We found a post card written to her oldest grandchild posted from Beaver, OK in March of 1913. We believe she died later that year. The Beaver, OK Genealogical society found a Parlea Litterel buried in Clearlake Cemetery, 17 miles away. We are searching for Joe MUSTAIN, father of William Ernest, George, Wiley, Lucy, Dave and "Buddy". We have seen that a JOE SHADRACK MUSTAIN married FRANCIS ACUFF on September 10, 1871 in Dallas County, Missouri. Was this a long marriage? Could this Joe Mustain be our Joe Mustain? Our Joe Mustain married BETTY POOL/POOLE in Arkansas and ended up in Dyersburg, Tennessee, where my grandmother and her siblings were born. We have no information other than this! My grandmother insists Joe was a full-blooded, blue-eyed Cherokee Indian. The blue-eyed part makes me suspect, of course, but my great-uncle (Joe's grandson) sure does look like he has some Indian blood in him! Very interesting and intriquing. Any help is appreciated.

Bert Monroe BRUCE and Lydia Ann SHUEY BURLEIGH were married in 1903. Bert was a carpenter and their travels took them out of Indiana to Washington, California, Texas, Oklahoma and finally March, Dallas, Missouri. Bert died in March, Missouri in 1937 and is buried in the Atteberry Shed Cemetery.

RIGGIN(S); PATTERSON I am searching for John RIGGIN(S) b. 1833 in MO d. 26 Aug 1876 m. Sarah PATTERSON b. abt 1840 in OH d. 1880. They lived and possibly married in Dallas Co. I know John is listed in census as where four children in another census (I can't remember the years). Three children listed in the latter census were Henry RIGGINS b. abt 1862, James C. RIGGINS b. abt 1864, Florrellon RIGGINS b. abt 1866, Charles E. RIGGINS b. 8 Dec 1868 in Buffalo, Benton Twp., Dallas Co. d. 13 Nov 1920 in LaGrange Twp., Bond Co., IL. Because of the courthouse burning down and destroying records in the years I was looking for, I was unable to locate anything when I passed through there in 1995. I am looking for any information on Christopher Columbus CARTER (originally from Illinois) and his wife M. E. ATCHLEY, married 31 January 1884 in Louisburg, Mo.
